We have found that 90% of clients looking for a hosting solution require very little in terms of out-of-the-ordinary functionality on their websites, and the major factors they look at when selecting a host is the number of MB storage space (meaning the number of pages or amount of data you can actually store on your website), bandwidth (the amount of data transferred from your website to a viewer/visitor), and price. We chose our “standard” packages to accommodate this fact. See below what exactly you get in each package.

Below the standard packages you will find information about additional options to our standard hosting solutions. If you need more than just a “off-the-shelf” solution, it is discussed below the standard packages.

Basic plan

This plan is aimed at those persons who want a basic on-line presence, either for personal or small business use. This is a competely managed hosting environment, and includes FREE Site Building tools and templates. Suitable for affilliate marketing mini-sites.

In keeping with our policy to provide a turn-key solution to every client, the following is offered as a package deal:

• Domain registration (.co.za) and setup of domain, including e-mail addresses, Fantastico Scripts and Sitebuilder as per client requirement OR current website and domain transfer from current host
• Two hours training on template facility & other software where applicable and / or web site design (unique site)
• First month’s hosting fee
• Free telephonic support during office hours for the first month to set up Email clients at your premises

This means that you will have a working site set up under your own domain (www.company.co.za)
Once-off Cost R999.00 excl VAT.
For other Top-level-domains (.com .net .ws etc) add R100.00 excl VAT.
Thereafter R49.95excl VAT per month.
Additional training or assistance with web design charged at R350.00 excl VAT per hour.

Web Site Development and Graphic Design

WebConcept also has a professional web and graphic design team, who can provide cutting edge web site development. We specialise in translating a client’s web requirements and corporate image into an elegant and functional on-line presence. It has been our experience that a well-designed and informative website increases sales and/or profitable contact by as much as 30%.

We are in a position to assist you with the development of a total corporate image, from logo design and printing requirements right through to branding of your products and vehicles. While we concentrate in these divisions on on-line solutions, included in our stable is Cape Craft Services which specialises in laser cutting and engraving, vinyl lettering, printing (on all and any substrates, even corrugated iron at photographic resolutions) and signage, and Fine Wood Craft producing bases and plaques for the trophy/award industry, and a variety of other custom wood products.

Because of the nature of web site development and graphic design, we will meet with you for an initial hour briefing at no charge, during which we will establish what your requirements are, both from an aesthetical and technical point of view. Following this consultation we will prepare a cost estimate indicating a price breakdown of the different components you requested. We roughly work on a fee of R350.00 Excl VAT per hour, but there are many factors that would influence this figure, and we very seldom charge this full rate fee.

Should you require professional copy for your website, we can assist in the rewrite of prepared copy at R250.00 per hour. For the development of new copy we charge an extra hour to two hours fee to compensate for time spent on research and familiarising ourselves with the subject matter.

Web Application Development

Web applications is becoming more prevalent in even small businesses, especially where there is scope for direct client interaction via a web interface, or there is a need to be able to access your company’s key data sources and functions from anywhere in the world.
